How it works

Your signature is captured as a transparent image (drawn on the pad or rendered from typed text) and stamped into the PDF's own structure using the pdf-lib library — the document itself is untouched, so text stays selectable and nothing is re-rendered or blurred. Click anywhere on the page preview to place the signature; you can place it on several pages and undo placements before downloading. Everything runs in your browser: the document and your signature are never uploaded, which matters, because a signature is exactly the kind of thing you don't want sitting on a stranger's server. One honest limit: this adds a visual signature, like signing with a pen — it is not a certificate-based cryptographic digital signature of the kind some legal or government workflows require.
