Browser support varies — this works best in Chrome and Edge. Your browser will ask for microphone permission the first time you click "Start listening." Note that Chrome's speech recognition sends audio to Google's servers for processing (it isn't fully local) — check your browser's privacy settings if that matters for your use case.
